THE GAMES
-
Arbor Ascent
Bring the heat! A single team member from each team will ascend using a climbing system, to ring a high bell, 75' in the air, in the shortest possible time.
-
Around The Bur
This high-stakes, strategic team event involves a series of climbing and rigging challenges requiring teamwork, communication, and skills, on and off the ground, in the shade of our beloved Bur.
-
Canopy Clamber
This high-intensity vertical obstacle course challenges each team to strategically tackle this 82 ft. rope ladder. Clamber on!
-
Cut Stickz
This relay event requires teams to participate in a precision timbersports-inspired limbing event. Go too slow and you won’t earn full points, but speed over precision may jeopardize your score.
-
Daisy Duel
This head-to-head showdown will require fast hands and an eye for accuracy as competitors daisy chain 200 feet of rope. All or nothing scoring. This might get a little western.
-
Juggernaut Jaunt
Choose from a team of two with mechanical advantage or go full brawn with all four team members and complete this feat of strength as you move more than 8,000 pounds. Do or do not, there is no try.
-
Mind Over Machine
Make sure your head is in the game and your grapple skills are on point. With the help of your teammates’ communication, a designated team operator will use a grapple truck to solve a larger-than-life puzzle.
-
Muscle Memory
Brawn and Brains. This team event will require each competitor to take turns tying an assigned knot while the other three team members support the weight of a log. Speed and knowledge reduce team stress!
-
Not Bore-ing
Your choice, all teammates or only one teammate may compete in this event that tests your finesse with a chainsaw. We’re back to basics; know all of your notches, and be prepared to deliver the perfect bore cut.
-
Smooth Operator
This team event requires it all: skidsteer and excavator operation, communication, skills, and patience, navigating a course with all required materials and assembling and disassembling a timber mat bridge to our specifications.
-
Timber Titans
This relay trio of timbersports-inspired events will require speed, precision, and grit, as competitors complete a total of five cuts. Sounds easy enough, right?
-
Under Pressure
Applicator time. This team relay event will test your hose management and endurance skills as you navigate an obstacle course and complete the event tasks.
